New plans for the blog. In addition to the random photo when I think of it, I want to start jotting down some of the awesome things Kadin says and does. As with all kids, he has such a fresh way to look at things! May also post photos of some of his artwork since it's impossible to keep all of it.
December 15, 2019, in the car:
K – Mom, did you know there is 28th grade? It's where the really really big kids are.
J – Really? And is it in your school?
K – Noooo, it's really far away.
J – Where is it?
K – Ummm, it's in Hawaii!
J – Really? Hmm. Kadin, do you know where Hawaii is?
K – Yes. You know, there's Hawaii… and… Saturn and Jupiter… and Pluto. Hawaii is on Pluto!
J – Oh, is it hot there or cold?
K – It's really cold there.
In honor of all of our spruce trees who are dying from the Spruce Bark Beetle (due to warmer temps up here), I made a 3D cardboard Christmas tree for us this year (2019).

Second year we did the Gingerbread House Workshop at the Flying Squirrel Bakery. Last year we made a train. This year, we made an A-Frame house. And Kadin ate A LOT of very stale candy!

Feb 19, 2020, at home: K – Mom, Kings are the rulers of everything. J – Really? And do you know, does the United States have a king? K – No. J – So, who rules in the United States? K – The moms rule! J - you got that right! K - But did you know who rules in Hawaii? The king! K - Did you know how many kings are in Hawaii? 100 or 51,090. |
