September 22nd and 23rd - the last two days of our trip to Jefferson City

Kadin, Baiba, and I were all feeling better and Kadin got his first taste of pure sweetness and sugar with a butter pecan icecream cone I shared with him.  (and all over Uldi's pants!) 

Our last day, saying our good-byes to mom, who was finally feeling a bit better to sit up for a few photos.  With everyone being so sick, she didn't get to spend nearly enough time with Kadin but they had a few fun days together and Kadin made mom laugh more than once for sure!

Back on the plane, heading home.  It was an all day flight, and he had lots of energy, but everyone was kind and he was happy, so it all worked out well...

September 16 - September 22, 2015 - 14 months and 1 week

The week of being sick, sick, sick.  We both had high fevers and felt miserable until we finally went to the doctor's and got antibiotics.  What a vacation!  

And the worst of it was, our germs spread to Nana (Baiba) and Great Grandma Alise.  Nana did fine, but it is truly scary for a 94 year old to be sick!!!  So glad mom (G-G Alise) is also on her way to recovering!

Lots of baths, lots of sleeping, lots of potty training sums up the week.
