Fun trip to Pigot Bay Cabin on Prince William's Sound.  Beautiful weather and lots of rocks and blueberries and jellyfish to play with!

July 12, 2015 - 11 Months, 28 Days Old

I think Danial has a photo of Kadin from today but it's blurry and not so great, so I'll post another one from a different day…
Here's one of my favorites, not sure why exactly.

April 27, 2015 - 9 Months, 13 Days Old

Kadin's first day at Day Care!!!  I think we were both pretty excited about it.  He got to play with LOTS of new toys and a few new friends and I got to run around and actually get a few things done.

April 26, 2015 - 9 Months, 12 Days Old

Kadin loves drinking out of my water bottle, but he unfortunately gets so excited about it, he flings his head back and pours it all over him.  It was a warm day out, but still he needed a full clothing change after that drink!

April 14, 2015 - 9 Months Old!

Happy 9 Month Birthday, Kadin!  

We were having a jolly fine day, until Kadin decided to celebrate his birthday by pulling an all-nighter!  I think I fell asleep before he did, sometime after 4am.

This last photo sums up how he was all night long!

March 10, 2015 - 7 Months 24 Days Old

Muir Beach with Teri and Naia! Sand and grass and warmer weather than Alaska!  It was a beautiful foggy and breezy day in the high 50s and Kadin LOVED it.  So did Naia since she got to play hooky from school!

Ooops.  No photo taken today, so here is one from a few weeks back (02/17/14)... using his feet to keep his bottle up in the air!

February 4, 2015 - 6 Months 21 Days Old

Long miserable day in Anchorage but at least we got the recycling taken care of and a bunch of baby things we needed - more clothes (he's growing fast!) and a Johnny Jump-up because he's a jumping machine!

January 24, 2015 - 6 Months 10 Days Old

We received 17 inches of snow over the past 2 days and we were completely snowed in until the plow truck plowed our road this afternoon!   So... what else to do but practice using a spoon!

January 23, 2015 - 6 Months 9 Days Old

Kadin was bored of being indoors and laying around with his bottle, so we went outside to watch the chickadees for a while.  One did briefly land on my hand, but it's awfully hard to catch just that moment with the camera.  Kadin loves watching them swoop down and fly past him with the audible "whoosh" of their wings.

January 7, 2015 - 5 Months 24 Days

Kadin got to visit with Mia today — the woman who first connected us to him with that fateful text on July 1st, 2014, "Call me ASAP, I have a baby for you."  Thanks Mia!!!!!!  Even Kadin looks like he is thanking her!

December 11, 2014 - 4 Months, 27 Days

Kadin can now hold his bottle all by himself!

After 4 hours of interviews for our home study, we finally finished it and went over to Danial's to chillax a bit with the cats.  Kadin seemed to like to look at Birch's furry face but thought his tail a bit itchy.
